(4.11b) Common recurring combat buffs
-------------------------------------
On the plus side, there are three very common recurring combat buffs that can
be acquired by lots of different sources such as potions, item activations,
spells or techniques, that might warrant some detailed explanation here.

These buffs are temporary and do not stack with the same type of buff even
when acquired from a different source, for example quaffing a potion of berserk
strength and then using the fighting technique 'Berserk' will have no extra
effect over just using one of the two (it will just reset the effect's timer).

Heroism stacks with either, Fury or Berserk Rage, but Berserk Rage will cancel
and override Fury and vice versa: Fury cannot go into effect while Berserk Rage
is already active.

Heroism: Remove and resist fear.
Initially heals you for 10 HP.
Increases hit points (CHP and MHP) by 10.
Increases to-hit (melee and ranged) by 12.

Fury: Remove and resist fear.
                  Increases Speed by 5.
Increases to-damage (melee only) by 10.
Reduces to-hit (melee and ranged) by 10.
                  Reduces AC by 20.
Slightly reduces your resistance to Psionic effects.

Berserk Rage: Remove and resist fear.
Initially heals you for 30 HP.
Increases hit points (CHP and MHP) by 20.
                  Increases Strength by 10.
                  Reduces AC by 10.
Slightly increases your resistance to Psionic effects.
Increases your throwing distance (but doesn't increase caps).
