monster picture as background i think is not quite good idea, it could result with something quite hard to read. but as theming it look nice :D

in example, you have "old book" style image as background, and lineart with transparent background as second image. Becouse of transparent background of lineart it look quite ok

i think with back&white you know how the picture would look after printing, adding colour pictere, and then printing as grayscale, could make some funny result (to many diffrent algorithm to produce grayscale from colour)

Print at something cheap, i don't think i can print without any border.

help me i goind into weird direction…

Wohoo! It's certanly fun to have such beautiful initial.

Yep, we have to transform all monsters pictures to grayscale first; sometimes even maybe add some sharpness-contrast to some of them; to make them look better in B&W.

The question is: layout. Where to put picture of monster. I like how you put Morgoth picture on top of the page. But Morgoth got biggest description (so it's ok to put him on two pages), most of monsters would use twice less space on the sheet. Please, could you make an example with a picture for other monster, more typical?

Btw... I though.. Maybe it would be fun to have special background pattern for 'unique' monsters.. I mean like deco pattern-backgroup 'old parchment' which you used.. To make it understandable right away that this picture got a boss in there

Sorry, but I will probably not post another char before friday, Morgoth i prepared manually.
Probably on weekend I will try to post pdf with more monsters.

I don't think that line with Id and name is necessary in book. Maybe just move symbol to name above.

It's bettor to have ID cause they are static and used in source of TomeNET and in my font also :) Could be useful info. With 'name' I totally agree, it's excessive.

Niiiice! :D But I suppose picture should be in the beginning (at least for other monsters with shorter description) ;) Or maybe not?

Everything else quite spectacular!
