We have in the guide:
https://tomenet.eu/guide.php?chapter=6.8
Vision Detects the dungeon layout around you.
Required skill level for first spell level: 18.

Tier II: Level 40. (Also dubbed "Clairvoyance".)
Maps and lights the whole level.
But how much 'divination' skill do I need to be able to cast Vision Tier II, if I have 50 spell-power?

And i wanted to make nice answer, but short story you need 40 in divination at current moment… spell-power only increase lvl of spell which you know, and sadly, you don't know Vision II before 40 in divination. With old spell system you should be able to have it effect at around 33.5 divination skill with maxed spell-power.

you need 40 lvl in divination to be able to cast it…
spell-power is tricky, if you have 50 in spell-power the lvl of spell is increased by 40%. So what lvl of vision you must have to cast tier II?
at 18 divination we have 1 in tier I
at 40 divination we have 1 in tier II, and 23 in tier I.
So close now…
23/1.4 is around 16.43, so we need to have 18+15.43 divination skill so around 33.43 to be able to cast it.

https://tomenet.eu/guide.php?search=UNM ... al+effects
UNMAGIC Will cancel all temporary magical effects on the player,
except for mimic form (from polymorph ring) and martyr.
1) is it distance attack or melee only?
2) so it could easely remove my temporary resistance from res.potion... and then wyrm-'D' could destroy me with one breath? :D

Is it worth it to invest in wisdom for a rogue for protecting sanity? A rogue hobbit can get as low as 7 wisdom but will doing that result in dying to insanity later on?

I was thinking that basically HP and sanity are two different HP bars so maybe I should put some points into wisdom for more sanity instead of in HP.

Also is trapping any good? It seems no one boosts that skill.

1) not really, cause at easly lvls it's not major threat. Insanity become danger at mid-game when you would already find some wisdom potions; to be safe from insanity just take with you 'cure insanity' potions later on
2) trapping is very good, if you like such style of gameplay. I saw some people defeated Morgoth with it. Personally I didn't try it yet (would do one day!)

Polymorph
Polymorphs your target randomly into another form.
If I polymorph monster to another form, would it have the same stats as original monster or new bonuses would be applied? I use chaos cloud with my runie and polymorph loads of stuff fast.. I wonder how dangerous it could be.

How does level influence Divination spells? For example, how does Detect Monsters benefit from a higher level? From what I understand it should get a higher success rate, but does it also get other benefits?

Ok, nobody has asked a question for 2 years... here is one that is bothering me.

Warriors of the Dawn. Is there any way to beat these guys, or do they multiply indefinitely? They seem to be unbeatable. There doesn't seem to be any point in engaging them. If they corner you, the only thing you can do is leave. It doesn't seem to matter how long I keep hitting them, or how many I kill, they just keep coming.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to kill them so that more don't step up, or are they truly invincible?
