Re: Armored Runemaster

Will Combat also help prevent the speed loss from heavy armor?

Re: TomeNET guide... on paper?

I voted "Read it other way..." because I read it on my laptop screen.

Anyway you could create your git with TomeNET code, make something useful and present it to community. If devs would like your contribution, they would accept it, I suppose. First deed, then words :)
My thoughts precisely. In fact, I was already ahead of you with creating the git repository.

Re: TomeNET gamedev school - learning ANSI C

One of my favorite websites is freetechbooks.com. It might help you too. It has many legal free books and a lot about C as well.

BTW why does TomeNET not use GIt?

Macro's cannot add macro's

When I try to make a macro that adds another macro (e.g. \e)%aj\rc1 to move down using 1 with roguelike bindings) then the macro works until after inputting the last c and from that point on it simply refuses to work. So if you have roguelike keybindings then the above macro will successfully bring ...

Re: If you like bears... Orphaned Wildlife Center

If you think that zoo's are bad than you should watch how they treat animals in slaughterhouses. Compared to that animals in zoo's are in heaven. Though I agree that zoo's are morally dubious. I do not often go to zoo's anyway but now that I think about it I might stop going based on ethical reasons...

Quick Macro's!

The F keys are pretty clumsy because they are far away and hard to find without looking. But with the roguelike keybindings you can use the number row for your macro's! Make sure to make them command macro's because otherwise they might interfere with option input or string input usage.

Roguelike Keybinding Issues

I use the roguelike keybindings and I found some small issues: 1. Some commands use keys that are used by UNIX to send signals. One good example is ^C which is used to merge stacks of items but on the GNU/Linux tty it will instead close TomeNET, probably due to the fact that it sends SIGINT there. T...

Re: [idea] new 'PvP Arena event' - to make PvP regular game activity

Sounds cool. Today I got a monster challenge on top of the Training Tower which was kind of like this but against a monster instead of PvP. Personally I think something like that for PvP would be nice. Just place two players in an arena, maybe rebalance a bit e.g. by adjusting levels or restricting ...

Re: Questions thread

Is it worth it to invest in wisdom for a rogue for protecting sanity? A rogue hobbit can get as low as 7 wisdom but will doing that result in dying to insanity later on? I was thinking that basically HP and sanity are two different HP bars so maybe I should put some points into wisdom for more sanit...
