Trade/price guide and inscription format

Guys and gals :) Due of new awesome market search system ( http://www.tomenet.eu/pstores.php ) I'm kindly asking for a people who trade a lot and know prices and economy of the game.

1) Lets try to collect information about items prices, develop a general idea how much staff has to be cost. How to price items correctly? Please give your recommendations (may be some one would even write a guide - it would be great!)

2) lets try to create format for inscriptions of items, so it would be possible to use search by "name" to find necessary staff easier. Something like inscription trade stardart. Right now people using very different templates for it. For example:

a Pike (*Defender*) {Guthalak,29} (3d9) (+6,-8) [+10] (+2) {wis/dex/con/Iacid/B/pois/sound/FA/SI/FF/HPr}
a Fiery Scythe (*Defender*) {Tsar,38} (6d4) (+6,+2) [+14] (+3) {*Fire* immune, dis res}
a Flamberge (Defender) {Niican,35} (4d7) (+11,+12) [+5] (+2 to stealth) {BaseLight FA SI 2h}
a Dagger (*Defender*) {Niican,32} (1d4) (+7,+6) [+4] (+2) {BaPoFAHLSIff reghp +WisDexConStealth}

Lets try to develop recommendations for items description format? To use (or not) "/" or " " (space) between properties, which acronyms better to use & etc

1) There is a lot to say about price of items, i recommend checking other shops' price before putting new item on sale (especially for things like DSMs, boots of speed, speed rings, because its hard to compare prices for random artifacts since they are unique).
2) I think that its impossible to create one standard for every inscription. But it would be nice to lengthen the inscriptions for artifacts, those two-letter ones are hard to guess. 3-4 letters would be enough, for example Psn, Spd, F.Act, Blows, Neth, *FIRE*

Just use regular prices. Some items are already overpriced enough not to add more, otherwise they will stay in your shop forever. The only exception being "ultra rare" combos on items, like getting full esp on a shooter. Also feel free to overcharge rare items which are underpriced like PDSM.

For the inscriptions, since the feature now tells you where the item is, just check the house where the item is and (I)nspect it. Of course, this means the owner didn't forget to *id* the item first.

May be its possible to implement automatical showing of items properties via "shop search"? Then this problem would be solved :)

Possible certainly, but devs have limited time. I /rfe ed something along these lines since imo the only way to standardize inscriptions is to have them automatic.
